The Vagabonds. Their adventures took them thru Western Maryland and to the present-day site of
Swallow Falls State Park.
Please Join us on Saturday Aug. 21st for our Miata Vagabond adventure! We’ll embark from Mt Pleasant, Pa and travel south to hills of West Virginia and Maryland, (rest stop at the 1 hour mark) and ultimately arriving at
Swallow Falls State Park. We’ll reconnect with nature and walk the 1.5 mile Canyon Loop trail, taking us past the same natural falls area The Vagabonds enjoyed almost exactly 100 years ago.
Please note there is a $5 per person entry charge into Swallow Falls Park. After the Falls, it’s a short drive over to Mountain State Brewing Co. which features hand-crafted ales, wood-fired flatbread-style pizza, sandwiches, and salads. The menu will be sent to you approx. 1 week before the cruise to pre-order our selections.
Our next stop is the Garrett Co Museum of Transportation, filled with fascinating displays, and only a short walk from our ice cream stop.
